Welcome to URSA 4

The Universal Resource Sharing Application (URSA) is a powerful tool for library staff members and administrators. It extends your library’s normal services by providing your users with the ability to access a wide variety of resources owned by libraries within your consortium. Administrators configure borrowing and lending policies in the client to automate the workflow and to link to local circulation systems. Library staff use the URSA client to manage and track requested materials through all stages of the borrowing or lending process.

  The URSA Client requires that the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.5.x or 1.6.x, including Java Web Start, be installed on your workstation. If you do not have either of these installed, please download one using one of the following links:
